Redesigned an issue of the Swimming World magazine and created a 28 page magazine with a new layout, logo, and design elements
Creating a whole magazine was definitely intimidating at first, but once I got going, I really enjoyed it. One of the first things I wanted to change from the original magazine was how the featured articles were displayed. In my magazine, I made sure the featured articles stood out by creating a geometric pattern and a powerful introduction page so that the reader knew it was the featured article. This project not only helped me learn Adobe InDesign better, it also deepened my design skills by learning the benefits of using more than one Adobe software for one project.
